The ZiviZ Survey is a representative survey of organized civil society in Germany covering associations, foundations, non-profit limited liability companies as well as cooperatives. The goal is to strengthen public and political awareness of the important contributions of these organizations. Meanwhile, the survey was implemented several times e.g. on the outcome of civic engagement linked to the COVID-19 pandemic. The topic was examined in detail and the results were published.
ZiviZ delivers data-driven orientation- and trend knowledge for practitioners, researchers, and policy-makers on civil society in Germany. It pools civil society-related expertise and activities of Stifterverband.
The initiative informs and partners with non-profits, foundations, ministries, and businesses.
